Když si její matka vzala přítele generála Maxwella(Gary Cole),musí se elegantní a nezávislá Kelly Collins(Hilary Duff) přestěhovat do nového města a jít do nové školy.Bohužel nová škola je vojenská akademie,kde Kelly bojuje s příšernou atmosférou.Její cestu nedělá lehčí ani kadetka Captain Stone(Christy Carlson Romano).
